TV Shows Featuring Lime Talent

Check out what some of our talent have been up to on the goggle box thanks to Lime! First up is the hit reality series Celebrity Apprentice Australia which is set to make mighty comeback in 2021 on CH9 and 9NOW in a season sure to be filled with high-stakes intrigue and never-before-seen twists.
The biggest change will be British billionaire, business magnate and CEO on all 15 seasons of the UK’s The Apprentice, Lord Alan Sugar joining this year’s series as top dog, after Mark Bouris got bumped. And this year’s celebrity line-up includes personal trainer, author and TV personality Michelle Bridges, Nova FM radio host Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli and the Lime Agency’s very own Olympic gymnast and Australia’s most successful female CH9 Ninja Warrior contestant Olivia Vivian.

Based on the US series The Apprentice, which was originally hosted by former US President Donald Trump, the show follows celebrities as they compete to win money for charities. This year sees the celebrities divided into teams of two and facing weekly tasks that require them to use their charm, creativity and talent, as well as their contacts to raise cash for worthy causes. Melanoma Institute Australia is delighted to be the nominated charity partner for Olivia Vivian.

So, who else will be appearing on the show? The full cast of apprentices will also include
Pop duo The Veronicas – Lisa and Jess Origliasso; comedian and actor Ross Noble; judge on The Block, interior designer and writer Shaynna Blaze; winner of Australian Survivor: All-Stars David Genat; star of Married at First Sight Martha Kalifatidis; writer and comedian Rob Shehadie; fashion designer and artist Camilla Franks; musician Anthony Callea; and, professional surfer Alex Hayes.

And in other exciting news, Lime were able to broker an exclusive deal with the BAFTA award-winning independent television and radio production company, CPL Productions – the makers behind the UK version of the international juggernaut Married At First Sight, with therapist and relationship coach Melanie Schilling joining the cast of experts.

Taking inspiration from the hugely successful Australian version currently gripping British viewers, the UK version of MAFS is being revamped into what’s guaranteed to be a more explosive series. Melanie will join returning star Paul C. Brunson (who claims to be the world’s most influential matchmaker!) and will be tasked with overseeing the entirety of the experience, from matching, to the altar, to honeymoon, to moving in and everything in between!

Mel Schilling has over 20 years of experience as a qualified specialist in human behavioural performance and purpose. Already well known in the UK for her role on the Australian version of the popular dating show, with a reputation for asking provocative questions and holding everyone accountable for their actions, Melanie will make a perfect addition to the show.

The new U.K. version of MAFS will see Mel and Paul pairing up to matchmake couples in the experiment guaranteed to deliver love, drama and no doubt a few surprises.

Melanie Schilling said: “I am so excited to join the super-sized UK version of our much-loved Married At First Sight. Being a part of the Australian experiment for 7 seasons has taught me so much about love, marriage, relationships (and conflict). I have been overwhelmed by the UK response to the Australian version and have been humbled by all the beautiful messages of support from the UK fans of the show. And I’m really looking forward to joining forces with Paul C. Brunson (as I’m a huge fan of Celebs Go Dating!). Together I know we are set to shake up the UK conversation about matters of the heart – I just hope I can decipher all those different accents!”
