DR. KIRSTIN FERGUSON – Entrepreneur, Speaker, Writer, Author, Content Creator, Digital Influencer & Emcee
Kirstin Ferguson wears a lot of hats as she changes the way the world looks at leadership… and she wouldn’t have it any other way. To start with, she’s an award-winning and globally recognised leadership expert, a sought-after executive coach, keynote speaker, sits on multiple corporate boards and writes for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, answering the nation’s work and leadership questions in her weekly column, Got A Minute?
All of this is without even mentioning her appointment by the Prime Minister as Acting Chair and Deputy Chair of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 2018. Kirstin is also making a global impact, with UK-based Thinkers50 naming her the only Australian on a list of the worlds’ top 30 “Thinkers to Watch” in 2021. Backed by an impressive 30-year executive career underpinned by a PhD in leadership, Ferguson is proof that hands on leadership experience and a lifetime of learning are indispensable to each other. A passionate advocate for women, she was also responsible for sparking a viral movement via the Our Watch platform – the Walkley Award nominated social media campaign called #CelebratingWomen, and is the co-author of award-winning book, Women Kind.
2021 has definitely seen Kirstin cement herself as one of Australia’s most prominent leadership experts. This year she has been recognised on the international stage for her leadership work including –
Being named as one of the top 30 leadership thinkers in the world to watch by London based Thinkers50
Being shortlisted for the Distinguished Award for Leadership for her contributions by London based Thinkers50
In both cases, Kirstin was the only Australian to be recognised.
